Randall is back.

When Ry was little, maybe 2, he created an imaginary friend named Randall. Randall lived in the mountains and would come down to play. They played, talked about going horseback riding together, and would both go on car rides with us. For a long time, Randall was at our house every day. I almost sat on him a couple times.

When we asked what Randall looked like Ryan said he was purple and kind of looked like a lizard.
Maybe like this?

We finally realized that he had been watching Monsters Inc waaaaay too much. We put the movie away but Randall stuck around for another year.

He's Ba'ack..
Now, Ry is almost six. And he came in and announced that Randall was here and wanted to go for a bike ride with us. Apparently he's been skulking around the house and yard the past couple days.

I know. We gotta get him a brother or sister ;)

Anyone but the Lakers.

What an exciting night! The Boston Celtics won the Finals! (sorry Crowder boys) We're watching the celebration right now - kerazy. That Danny Ainge sure knows how to put a team together.
Being an east coast girl, it's been too long since the Celtics have been here - and to do it against the Lakers.... priceless.

Kindergarten's over.

I can't believe how quickly this year went! Our little guy will be a first grader. He just loved school and is definitely missing his friends this week, now that school is over. Here are some photo highlights from his last week or two of school...

On a field trip to a nearby farm, they got to touch a turkey waddle (ewwww).

My boy got to sit on a tractor and lower that big scoopy thingy on the front.

Oh, hello.

Here's Ryan and his buddy Tyler.

The kindergarten concert was adorable. (yellow shirt, spiky hair).

Let us out!!!! I love this picture. Actually, Ryan had a playdate with a bunch of kids and one of them smacked the baseball over the fence. They were Very tempted to try and get over. Luckily, Paul was there to save the day and get the ball back.

This has been such a fun year. Ryan amazes us every day with the things he has learned and remembers. He can't seem to remember to make his bed or put his toothbrush stuff away but he does pretty well with everything else :)
