It's a dry heat.

So the other day, Paul was headed downstairs and I was sitting on the sofa. He looked over at me and stops...

He says "Are you cold?"

"No."

"Oh...Do you have nylons on?"

"No. Why?"

"What's up with your legs?"

"What?!"

And this is what can happen to you when you live in the desert and forget to put lotion on out of the shower. My legs looked like snakeskin! ick! I don't want to gross him out too badly so I'll try and be better about the whole lotion thing. I know, tmi.

So my cousin Stephanie Hodges is going to be on TV tonight (9/19, 10pm EST)! She'll be on CNBC presenting her designer bra straps on The Big Idea with Donny Deutsch!

She's got a great idea and a great little company and she needs our votes. They make beautiful, sexy crystal bra straps in all different colors and styles that can be worn with cute tank tops, dresses, and bathing suit tops.

Please support Steph by voting for her after the show airs. You can vote on the cnbc page http://www.cnbc.com/id/15838512 or at www.straptinis.com. Voting closes at noon Friday. Thanks everyone!!!

Pizzeria 712.

Oh, how I have missed good pizza. Growing up with pizza places on every other corner, it's nice to have finally found a place where the pizza doesn't come from a chain and is delicious!

Pizzeria 712 (in that big new plaza on State St in Orem) is my new local favorite. The ambiance is incredible--this place feels like something that you'd find tucked away in some little corner of a big city. The restaurant feels cozy, and it's fun to see the brick oven blazing away in the corner. The menu changes every few months because they use so many fresh ingredients.

Today, Julie and I had house-pulled mozzarella with fresh tomatoes and basil, a mozzarella, tomato, and cheese pizza, and a raspbetty peach cobbler for dessert. After looking at the dinner menu, I can't wait to go back!

Here's a link to their blog too. http://www.pizzeria712.blogspot.com/
